For a long time, love has not only been confined within the scope of family and friends, but it has also been spread through the act of giving love to those in less fortunate situations.
With the famous quote of American writer William Arthur Ward: “Love is more than a noun - it is a verb; it is more than a feeling - it is caring, sharing, helping, sacrificing", giving smiles to less fortunate situations is also considered a great way to share love.
Understanding that noble obligation, the non-profit organization Chair The Love was formed and began its meaningful journey. The head of the organization and co-founder - Jason Debono began his path of sharing love after graduating from the University of Central Florida.
After working and studying as a sought-after manager, Jason realized that life is more meaningful when shared with love. Thinking about it, he began to pour his heart and soul into providing wheelchairs and essential mobility-related services to those who needed them and the less fortunate.
Jason Debono - the head of the organization and co-founder of Chair The Love - has begun his own meaningful journey. The journey lasts about 10 years from 2013-2023. The first journey also faced many difficulties and deprivations, mainly taking place in two main places: Guatemala and Nicaragua. The organization began calling for participants to contribute and received a lot of attention for this meaningful action.
Gradually, the number of participants has increased significantly, everyone wants to contribute a little effort to bring smiles to disabled and less fortunate people. Activities are increasingly expanding, from South American countries to Africa (Kenya) and then to Asian countries such as the Philippines and Vietnam.
The organization's activities attract a lot of attention because of the value it brings to the community. This journey of giving love has just taken place in two main locations: Hanoi and Thai Binh. The wheelchair distribution journey will begin on Tuesday, November 7 in Hanoi and will then move to the Red Cross in Thai Binh and Hue in the following days.
The journey of connecting love Chair The Love has received a lot of contributions from Vietnamese entrepreneurs with the desire to join hands to bring some value to the community, spread love and bring bright smiles to less fortunate situations.
